How do I stop Virus and spyware infections?

A good way to keep your machines free of virus and spyware infection is to have the best protection you can have.  Every tech on the planet has a different choice or set of programs to help you.  We can only speak from our experience and knowledge based on what we see and that points us to industry standard tools.  Why not use what the pros use to clean your machine to protect your computer from getting infected in the first place?  We start with Malwarebytes, superantispyware and Acast and or MS Security Essentianls.  Follow some of the basic computer security tips such as “don’t open e-mail from people you don’t know” and if it is a forwarded peice of mail delete it, unless your are positive it came from someone you know.  If it says “FW:pictures of joes game” or what ever and I don’t know any joe’s…I am not opening that mail….Superantispyware goes a long way in keeping your computer clean from all the nasties! 

You may not have heard of Malwarebytes but most every pro uses it on a daily basis and as with superantispyware, comes with a lifetime license.  You buy one time…

We have been over this so many times but antivirus companies keep changing their software and when they do you look to us to be upto date on all those changes.  It is almost impossible for the end user to keep tabs on all the changes to AV software so thats why you come to us!  Most, if not all AV says that their sofware catches all the infections i.e Rootkits, Spyware, malware etc but it just is not so!  We use all three of these sofwares on our business machines and have never been infected!  When people rely on one protection software, more than 80% get infected.  Don’t rely on one, have a multi tiered approach!
